I am teaching breast cancer patients, they take for free, all props are provided & I average 11/class, many weeks as many as 16. They are in all stages of their cancer journey from newly diagnosed, currently in treatment, completely healed & recently several w/ metastatic disease. I have completed the Professional Training through Yoga of Awareness for Cancer Patients @ Duke IM in addition to my 240RYT certification. Am trying to get a feel for how much to charge the hospitals for my salary. any information would be helpful!
Peaceful Blessings,
Katheryn Harlan

Sounds like a great class you've started, congratulations!

The standard rate we have seen in big cities is around $80/hour, regardless of students per class. Hope this helps!

Thank you!

Hi Katheryn,
This is such a good question! Depending on the part of the country you live in, the cost for a specialty class can be anywhere from 50 to 100 per hour. I would love you to post this discussion to the Instructor's Forum, since it is an issue that all instructors will have to face. Blessings, Jean
