So I just finished reading Skinny Bitch. It's a funny title and has nothing to do with the book, but it was a really good read. It basically talked about how corrupt and disgusting the meat industry is. I really don't eat meat very often (I'm a flexitarian?), but I'm considering completely giving up both meat and dairy products.
Any vegans out there with suggestions? What types of vitamins and supplements do you take and recommend?
I'm a vegetarian thinking about going vegan--there are a lot of great resources out there. I'd try the PETA website, this could be helpful as well: http://www.veganhealth.org/
And, I found that when I gave up meat I had to re-learn to cook. Skinny Bitch has a newer cookbook that's pretty good, and Isa Chandra Moskowitz's cookbooks are awesome!
