YCaT is a three-part continuing education and certification program for Yoga teachers and health professionals interested in
working with people in cancer treatment including hospitalized patients. The
YCaT curriculum is an evidenced-based, experiential framework developed to
train people to work safely with the tools of Yoga with people at any stage of
illness: new onset, stable chronic illness and end-of-life. The program
includes learning adaptations of traditional Yoga practices that can meet the
physiological and psychological needs of this population. Upon completion of
this three-part program, Yoga instructors will be qualified to design and
implement wellness & stress management programs for inpatient and
outpatient settings.
