I am so impressed with this Yogabear thing! I can't believe you do this for free - it's so cool!

I have posted a link to your site on my blog, and I am hoping maybe I will be lucky [I have had a lucky week!] and perhaps some friendly local yoga teacher will get in touch. I believe there are about 3 studios in Exeter [the UK] so you never know.

I know nothing about yoga apart from the fact that learning simple breathing exercises through a friend helped me immensly after I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last year. And of course I've seen it - and it looks so relaxed, even though I understand it's actually quite strenuous.

The little she could explain to me made a huge difference to my sanity. I still do that breathing now if I get stressed. And it always makes me think of her. And how kind she was to take the trouble she did.

Any suggestions on how to get this going or someone to contact would be greatly appreciated - I am no expert in 'organising' stuff - chemo brain - half the time I'd forget my head if it wasn't joined on...;o)

cheers!

Sandhy,
We'll help you get the word out in the UK as much as we can!
I would recommend trying some online classes to get a feel for yoga and see what styles you like. Here are some suggestions:
- http://www.youtube.com/yogabears we have posted some modifications of standard poses
- http://www.yogatoday.com/ you can actually watch full classes from your computer!

Keep in touch,
Halle
excellent! thanks Halle - I shall check that out tomorrow - it's 9.52pm here, a little late for concentrating :o)

Plus that's more info I can post on the blog.

Maybe I will just move to the States - I think the weathers better too ;o)

It would be awesome, and you'd have 100% of our support!
I have posted it on Facebook and will be hot on the trail as soon as I can. Thanks Halle - you're a star! We're doing a Relay for Life on the 4th July, so i will try to get something sorted for that
