What books are you reading now? In my hands right now it the BIG ONE, The Emperor of all Maladies. It is a biography of cancer. Yes, it looks at cancer as a living entity with a history and personality. A long read, but I think full of hope seeing progress thru history and ways humans have adapted to this disease over centuries. It is not an epidemic. It is something that we live with everyday and therefore must manage. That is where yoga comes in to the picture.  More people live with cancer than die of cancer on a yearly basis.

There is a woman in Japan who is a dear person and an OM Yoga teacher. She has completed the OM Yoga for Women Cancer Survivor Training with me last June. Maybe that is the same person. Such a small world.

Cyndi Lee does have 200 hour OM Yoga teacher trainings in Europe. Check out her schedule on at omyoga.com.

Hello West Coast, in general. OM Yoga is currently working on a location to do a OM Yoga Women Cancer Survivors Teacher Training. Likely to be early 2011. We're working on it. There are trainings on the calendar thru the October 2010 in New York and South Carolina. And I will be at Kripalu March 13-18, 2011.
If you send me your regular email address, I will put you on my e-blast when the West Coast date is set.
In the meantime, do not hesitate to ask me questions about the program.

would love to take the Om Yoga training but logistically (ie financially) can't get to NY. Would gladly go to Seattle or San Francisco if training were to be offered westward.
Thanks for Om Yoga teachers for doing what you do. You inspire me to keep on learning.
