Is anyone from YogaBear interested in doing a 1 hour presentation on the benefits of yoga for survivors at 24 Hour Fitness in Oakland for “Fit2Survive: 24 Fit Ways to Survive And Move Forward” on Sunday, June 3rd.  Please let me know.  I would love to learn more about yoga!

Yoga to the People doesn't have classes specifically for those diagnosed with cancer but it is a magical studio. it's perched atop the fifth story of a building. hardwood floors support your journey as the windows expose the city life from twin peaks to Portrero Hill from noon to dusk. It is a community built on love and support and it is all donation based. it is located on 16th/mission. i highly reccomend the sunday candlelit class at 7pm it's powerful

I've been to yoga classes at my gym and done DVDs at home, but I want to try a yoga studio. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good yoga studio near Foster City?

How do we find out about yogo studios (in San Francisco) that provide free (or special rate/budget-friendly) classes for those diagnosed with cancer? I was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer; haven't begun treatment yet but simply need a way to remain calm and clear-headed about all this. I'm in between jobs too, so the diagnosis doesn't exactly come at an ideal time; hence another reason why I'm curious about yoga studios offering such benefits (if any). Thanks in advance!!
