Aya started practicing yoga to rehabilitate from her rowing injuries in 1999.
Through her yoga practice, she has gained a more balanced and positive approach
to her life.
She sees yoga as a pathway to a new sense of balance and sensitivity to one’s mind and body.
In 2006 Aya graduated RYT 200 from the Prana Power Studio(Tokyo, Japan) and became a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance.
Aya also deepened her understanding of body work by learning pilates and core-conditioning.
After Aya had worked in many fitness centers as well as spas in 5-star hotels in and around Tokyo, she have got a strong passion to share the joy of exercise outside of fitness gyms and studios.
Aya currently focus on one-to one sessions of yoga and pilates. She also enjoys yoga and pilates with people with special needs and strongly involved in interpreting various teacher trainings and workshops since 2009.(Yoga Works(Osaka, Japan), Santosha(Koh Pha Ngan,
Thailand and Byron Bay, Australia), Yoga Hawaii(Tokyo, Japan),Prana Power(Tokyo, Japan) )
She hopes to be able to share her passion for unlocking the power of
the breath and of simple exercise with all who are interested in
learning.
She currently lives inSydney in Australia.
