I recently stopped teaching school for the summer break and bound and determined to get back to the mat, for real, ran into a few maintenance issues. I was suffering from acidic build up in the body. I really had not planned on six sinus infections this year, being a die hard yogi. "Classical" as in flow or asthanga? Do you like to flow through movements or are you drawn to hold postures?
Fortunately, where I teach, there are so many teachers, that I can pick the style of my choice on the day! For me, stamina is an issue that I have to wake up and see how much Ihave before I choose the type of yoga class I will attend.
On Thursdays, I teach a beginners' class followed by an intermediate class. I call both 'eclectic' blend; so, I teach different styles . Lately, I've been using "Yoga Builds Bones" to develop classes for upper body strength using our own body weight.
