Dear Darla,
What a generous and gentle thing to say! I am blessed and the work I do gives me great purpose. I feel that we each contribute what we are able to do. When I finish teaching my YCS class on Wednesdays, an inner 'heart light' turns on and warms me deeply. It is my honor to be of service. Thank you for your service to peace. May all your healing work bring the peace to you we all seek.
Blessings,
Jean

Hi Darla,
I'm a Jersey girl...with family all over 'back east'...and soon to be in Florida. The YB site works by going to the top of the page, and pulling down the menu's to find information. To find a studio, you go to "For Yoga Providers" and look at Participating Studios. To fill out an application, go to "For Survivors" and fill out what you are looking for, and the area coordinators will contact you. I know there is a Florida chapter director, but where in Florida, I do not know!
In the meantime, go to our Podcast section and look over the offerings. To me, to focus on breathing and meditation is essential, there are so many stressful situations during and after treatment, that our bodies require many ways to relieve this stress. The stamina that can be built through breast work is a good foundation for all other exercise (see my blog, 30 breaths). Once the Florida director knows that you are looking there, she will contact you. Let me know if this answered some of your questions!
Blessings,
Jean
