Hi Darla!
Nice to meet you. I am a stage 1B survivor and am Regional Director of the National Cervical Cancer Coalition and just this week started with Cancer Treatment Centers of America at their Goodyear, AZ campus. I would love to catch up and answer any questions you may have. Email me directly at shall@nccc-online.org. I look forward to speaking with you soon. Hugs!

Hi Darla,
Neither of my sisters practice yoga (but I did have a dream that we were doing yoga together!). I have given instruction to my older sister who has severe asthma and chron's disease. I continue to hold out hope. Both of my sisters would need a gentle and adaptive approach.
However , the book "Yoga and Common Sense", no longer in print but written many years ago by a woman who had so many physcial problems and started yoga and it 'healed' her (there is no cure for life, as we all die!)
You sound very 'active' and well on your way to enjoying a more traditional yoga.
I thank yo for the studio names, maybe I can pass it along and
dream and hope some more!
The idea of a studio based on donations, how wonderful is that!
We have a studio in the city called "Red Lotus" society , I haven't been there, but they are community based and have had some great speakers and classes, all donation based. It's the parking in the city that holds me back.
