I began my yoga adventure many years ago when I had problems breathing and had slipped a disc in my back whilst trampolining. My doctor suggested yoga to strengthen my back and aid the breathing. What a star!! I walked out of my first class thinking 'wow I'm in heaven'. I've never looked back.
Once I got the bug I wanted to teach yoga and share the feeling. Some of my gorgeous friends got together and gave me some money towards training so I completed Sivananda teacher training in Austria. What a life changing experience! It was hard work but I am so thankful to my friends helping me along my way so thank you girls.
Since then I have continued my training in hatha flow, astanga, yin and anusara styles. My classes are hatha flow based but I bring in teachings from these other styles. I like my classes to be fun but challenging taking you to new places and encouraging a deep relaxation at the end so you can appreciate the time out you have made for yourself.
For the younger generation I also teach Yoga Bugs - yoga classes for small people based on stories, we go to jungles, oceans, shipwrecks and desert islands... so much fun for schools and birthday parties.
