I just joined Yoga Bear and live in Scottsdale Arizona. I would love to be included in any upcoming discussions or plans for events in Arizona. I look forward to getting involved.
Hi Sherrill,
You are on my mind, too! Especially when I said hello to some new YB members and saw AZ as their home! I'm going great! Getting ready for many different events and activities, blending family and fun: starting with Jesse's graduation on the 21st. You didn't see the video of the car ride! Let's just say, it was beyond my ability to perceive, and so, it seemed like a dream~ How are you doing? What are doing?
And, thanks for joining the Forum. Hugs! Jean
Dear Sherrill,
I've been thinking about you and imaging how busy you are! Jesse is home for a visit, a tumble from a bike accident and just needing a l ittle TLC. I have completed half of my Yoga for Cancer Survivors certificate - yet another approach to cancer survivor yoga! Ah! So many options! How are you ? Blessings, Jean
I practice hatha and ashtanga vinyasa at YogaMax in Tempe. It's a very small studio, run by a very good friend of mine since July of last year. We're not working with Yoga Bear yet, but I really hope to be able to once resources allow.
I've been a fan of Yoga Bear on Facebook for some time now, but just joined up here when I saw this group was available on the site. I certainly look forward to some involvement with the community!
Thank you for everything you are doing!

I just discovered and joined YOGA|BEAR, and am wondering if you could provide more details on volunteer activities, positions, and events that take place in Arizona. I am a yoga beginner, but have experience working with cancer patients, and would really like to resume my yoga practice while also benefiting cancer survivors.
Ahhh....Ms. Sherill: I feel very sad for you that you have had such "huge" "learning oopportunitites"! I, too, continue to celebrate the wonderment of every day I get to not only wake up, but to wake up well! Thank you for sharing your story and I will pray for your mother and your entire family. Blessings
Hello again Ms. Sherrill: thanks for your kind note. I am thankful and anxiously awaiting news of starting the yoga classes. Tell me please, are you a c-a-n-c-e-r
survivor? I try not to give much credence to the word.
Blessings
Karen

Hi Sherrill,
I was checking my Yoga Bear 'saved' box, and came across your email to me; and , I started to wonder how your yoga training is going? It was very exciting to read your
letter over again and realize that there is one more yoga teacher joining the cadre of teachers who are aiming to help cancer survivors. May your joy increase with each blessing you bestow.
Blessings to you,
Jean
