Coping with a Cancer Diagnosis

Coping with a cancer diagnosis demands a lot of decision-making skills. It also requires some organizational ones: like what to bring to treatment? You will be making lots of trips to the doctor's office, hospital or treatment center. Get prepared by bringing a notebook to keep copies of important information. Getting through treatment one step at a time

Receiving treatment for cancer isn't an event, it's a long hard journey. During six months of weekly chemotherapy for stage III colon cancer, I made a commitment to find joy where I could. YogaPoolza, San Franscico June 2009

Dear Yoga Bears,

Sometimes you wake up and just know you need to do something! I woke up last weekend and said,"I'm going to SF to YogaPoolza". I booked a flight for 8:30, went to get my daughter, Jesse Marie who attends SFSU and we took the train to the studio. What a blast!
