Chest opener on the wall opens so much more. It opens space for breath. It opens the heart for love. It opens the mind's eye as your capacity to push and feel in these areas that we close off and protect come out into the open. It opens the neck as we pull our shoulders down away from our ears. It opens our rib cage and expands our insides so our organs have room and space to do their work.
Close your eyes in this pose, and envision your entire body opening like the lotus opens, petals unfurling and expanding - open yourself to your best self. The self that sees love and light in all creatures and all things. Open yourself to living and loving in the moment. Open to the universe as larger than yourself, and yet completely contained in you.

Somehow, this one missed coming thru on my email, but followed directions and was able to find. What a great stretch for my back and shoulders. I felt good when I was done practicing this pose. I have "saved/filed" all of the poses thus far. I makes for a great routine for a beginniner like me. I so needed this. Thank-you.
this really feels good, and so good for all of us with post-surgical tightness.

I have a feeling my boobies are really going to enjoy this pose. I like the mental picture of breaking up the scar tissue in the chest area. You can't imagine how tightly it can build up after surgery until you have experienced it. What a transformational journey.
Before my show on Saturday night we warmed up and our director took us through a variation of this pose. This one felt so much better to me. I am excited to take it to the cast next week. Thank you!!
