Sorry to be the bubble buster here, but we need to keep each other informed...my advice, use whole food sources such as Stevia leaves, dried fruits and whole fruits
for your sugar source.

Ultimately, you need to make a choice regarding the agave debate.

Keep on keep'in on…

Not to mention that it is so sickly sweet and gross. I mean really, give me raw honey or maple syrup any day. (Although, beware that some of the cheaper brands of both of those are diluted with corn syrup and HFCS as well. Read labels!!)

Jean,

I think if you have to use sugar, using organic, fair trade cane sugar is your best bet. However, we all know that specific diseases and disorders love sugar, no matter how pure it is and what the conditions of workers are. I really feel that for optimum health, it's best to use Stevia leaves or whole fruits as sweeteners, such as dates, fig paste, etc. You can definitely use organic maple syrup to give you that sugary kick. Ultimately, everyone has to make their own choice on this one!

Yes, after I so enthusiastically jumped on the agave wagon, reports started to filter out about its purity....what do you think about cane sugar?
