Hi Jean! I think I'm getting there in terms of accessing the website and figuring out how to work my way around and through it. I'll be the first to admit it's not my best thing, but it is fun! Thanks so much for all of your help and support. Jodi
Hi Jean, I'm helping Erin Hanley with the CNN Heros Nomination. Can you email me (or post on my page) what your title at Yoga Bear is and a description of what you do for Yoga Bear? Thanks!
Hi! I've thought about yoga for quite some time but have always been worried that I couldn't do it because of strength and fatigue. My fears stopped me. I hear from just about everyone that it makes them feel so good and I really need some of that...I have so many medical issues that I have always felt that it was something I couldn't do. I did buy a yoga dvd once and wanted to throw it across the room LOL I think I need to be in the environment with others. Thanks for asking!
Wow...I now have alittle bit of time the Governor gave me 3 Fridays off.We are working on being able to take them off when ever. So,let me know what days and time.
Cupertino is in Silicon Valley near San Jose. I have never tried yoga, but I want to learn it not only as an exercise but to bring me calmness. I am very clumsy athletically so I hope it won't be an impossible task for me.

Hi Jean!
Thanks for the warm welcome! I am the county director for a non-profit organization called thinkmarriage.org in Wausau WI. The focus is on providing couples with marriage enrichment opportunities to keep their relationship strong and fulfilling. I do not do yoga (yet!) but hope to in the future. I am interested in bringing Yoga Bear into Wausau and especially exploring potential of couple's yoga for those touched by cancer to provide healing and increase intimacy...any suggestions please contact me!
well yes I did, alos my aunt Sally Burger is a yoga teacher in London and beongs to Yoga Bear. I am an avid practicer and am hoping to do my RYT 200 next year.

The class I went to is put on by Team Survivor and is for cancer survivors It was an easy class and of course the instructor told us not to do anymore than is possible. I did not break a sweat however the stretching and breathing were great and very relaxing. I am somewhat limited right now since I cannot lay on my stomach with the tissue expander and cannot stretch that side too much that will change after my next surgery can't wait.
I am looking for basic Yoga at this time. I have just finished my chemo 4 weeks ago and went to a class to see what it was like and fell in love felt so good when I was done and plan on continuing.
hi jean,
thank you for for contacting me. actually, i realized after i signed up on yoga bear that i am not eligible to participate in the yoga program at this time because i am right in the middle of my chemo treatments. is there a reason why people can't do yoga during their treatments?
Hi Jean! I have no idea what kind of yoga I want to do. I took a class years ago, and have just been doing it on my own! Is there anything in particular you would recommend?
